What driving license do I need to rent?

Cat B(full driving licence ) for quads, buggies and scooters up to 80 cc
Cat A or A1 for scooter 125 cc,300 cc and 400 cc

What do I need to rent a vehicle?

A valid Category B driving licence and a passport are required.
A photo of your driving licence is also accepted.
For UK citizens only, a DVLA confirmation is accepted.

How old do I need to be to rent a vehicle?

The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 18 years old.
Please note: for large engine vehicles, the minimum age is 23 years and above.

Do I need to wear a helmet when driving a quad or scooter?

Yes, wearing a helmet is mandatory by law.
The police fine for not wearing a helmet is €250.

Where can I park my vehicle?

You may park anywhere cars are legally allowed to park.

How can I protect my vehicle?

Each customer is provided with a personal lock.
It is the customer’s responsibility to lock the vehicle at all times.

Can I drive off-road?

No. Off-road driving and drifting are strictly prohibited.

Can I cross the border to the occupied part of Cyprus?

No. Crossing the border is prohibited.

Where can I drive?

You may drive within the Famagusta area, including:
Ayia Napa, Ayia Thekla, Paralimni, Protaras, Deryneia, Liopetri, Sotira, and Frenaros.

Can my child be a passenger on a quad or scooter?

No.
Children over the age of 5 may only be passengers on buggies.

What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum rental period is one day (24 hours).

Do you offer full insurance on the vehicles?

No.
All bike rental companies provide third-party insurance only.

Can I rent a vehicle in someone else’s name?

No. This is against the law.

Am I responsible for mechanical failures?

No.
If a mechanical issue occurs, we will replace the vehicle and compensate you for any lost time.

Can I rent or return a vehicle outside shop working hours?

No, rentals and returns must be made during shop working hours only.

What does “free transfer” mean?

We offer free pickup from your hotel, apartment, or villa.
Airport pickups are not available.
